rustic berry-fruit tart

Leivoin viimein jotain ihan itse. Mun piti leipoa tämä jo perjantain juhliin, mutta tuli niin kiire kaiken muun homman kanssa ja jätin taikinan jääkaappiin.
Joten tässä se nyt on; kookos, aprikoosi, mustikka, vadelma rustic- piirakka. Ihan mielettömän herkullista, kun sekaan heitti vähän vaniljaa. Ihanaa, kun kuoren sisässäkin on hedelmiä ja marjoja.

Taikina
6 1/2 dl vehnäjauhoja
1/2 dl sokeria
3/4 tl suolaa
250 g voita
1 1/2 rkl vettä (kylmää)

American pancakes

We baked some big, heavy pancakes yesterday after school. For the first time I succeed with those even we little burnt some of them. Pancakes are the best and I'll be super with them one day.

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon white sugar

2 large eggs (beaten)

30 grams butter (melted and cooled)

3 dl milk

2 1/2 dl plain flour

butter for frying

Mix up milk, butter and eggs and then mix flours with them.

chocolate cookies

Dear ladies, you know that certain feeling when you can't think anything else than treats? I do have those needs every month and today we didin't have anything proper to eat for that so I had to bake something. So, I found easy chocolate-oat biscuits recipe, but as soon as I prepared cookies I also lost my cravings.

Well, maybe here're others who would eat them. And maybe I surprise my friends with them.

Día de los Muertos: sugar coated Frida Kahlo

I realized that it's also soon Day of the Dead (fin. Kuolleiden päivä) and

I found this recipe from A Beautiful Mess blog. 

I love Frida Kahlo and her style and art

so this was nice idea.

I, of course, had to make some changes with decorating because

here in our town we don't have walmart etc.

But I'm proud of myself. I'm not a good cook.
